There some differences between the USA English keyboard and the German  keyboard.  The letters Z and Y are in reverse locations.

The lower left “Control” key is called the “Strong” key but works the same way.

To access the “@” symbol you need to look to the right of the space bar for the “GR” key while looking to the upper left for the location of the “@” symbol.

The umlaut keys are to the right side of the alpha keys. An umlaut is a German alphabet letter with the cut two little dots above the letters ä, ö ü. They were designed to entertain and frustrate language students and poliglots.

The esst-zet letter looks like a capital “B” and looks like this “ß”
